Organic

The oil is produced through organic farming, with a total absence of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. In compliance with Community Regulation no. 2092/91, this requires the use of alternative methods such as eco-traps or liquid baits (spintor fly) for protection against Bactrocera oleae and Bacillus Thuringiensis for protection against the olive moth and margaronia, as well as synthetic fiber bands on the trunk to catch the vine weevil. The control system is implemented by Bios Srl.
